A study by Virginia Tech Transportation Institute revealed that dialing a handheld phone while driving increases the risk of a crash as much as six times.

Text messaging is even more dangerous. It increases the risk of a collision by 23 times.

One out of Every Four Traffic Accidents

People talking on cell phones or sending text messages now cause more than 25 percent of all traffic accidents. This number is according from a report from the National Safety Council.

In 2012, 3,328 lives were taken because someone thought they could do two things at the same time. Don’t add to those numbers.
