California Permit Test No. 2 - Passing score: 83%
To pass your California DMV test, study the driver's manual & take permit practice tests you can trust. You'll find them here.
The passing score in California is 83%. It means you should answer at least 30 out of 36 questions correctly to pass this practice test. The safest tactic, however, is to aim for a full score. Take as many tests as you need to feel comfortable with all answers. Learn by your mistakes. If needed, use the DMV Driver Handbook and read up on the facts.
What is California Graduated Driver's License?
To get a California Minor's or Learner's Permit you must be at least 15 years and six months.
Unless you are older than 17 years and six months, you must show proof that you are enrolled and participating in an approved integrated driver education/driver training program. If you have already completed a driver education, you must show your Certificate of Completion. You must also have documents showing your identity, birth date, true full name, residency, and/or legal presence.
After getting all paperwork ready, both you and your parents (or legal guardian) must sign the driver's license application.
Before California DMV issues a learner permit, you must pass the California DMV permit test and a vision test. Make sure you prepare well for the CA written test.
